This is the second half-segment from my first show I played at The Trunk Space May 23rd, 2008. I was using a minimal setup then of a mixer/4 oscillator SleepDrone5/Digitech multiFX/guitar+violin bow/microphone. Nowadays my setup is even less. This was my early “space-cave insectoid” sound I was going for. Filmed on scratchy damaged VHS. (I used to have long hair.)

Coronal Mass Ejection is Ryan Ludlow/Ben Brucato (Clew of Theseus)/John Luna (Nyarlathotep). This was taken by some dude at a show at the Cabal noise/power electronics/neo-folk/industrial shop we used to have in Arizona that was owned and operated by Ben (the shop was a tiny room tucked in the back of Firehouse Gallery which still exists, to my knowledge). This shop did not get the attention it deserved or the sales it needed to stay alive despite having some fucking killer records (like the SPK multi-vinyl metal box so many people drool over, and that’s only one thing) and literature/art for sale. I remember clearly when Pasi from Bizarre Uproar had his art on display at the shop. It was like a slice of Hospital Productions on the west-side. Rest In Peace. This show was with Geiger Retort (me), Ahlzagailzehguh, Yellow Tears, and Clew of Theseus. Awesome night. I’ll post my set next.
